Offer Payouts
OffersPayout Type Lives on the Offer Conversion
The payout type is configured on the offer conversion record,
not on the offer itself. The available payout types are:
- usd - fixed dollar payout per conversion.
- buyer_conversion_percent - payout is a percentage of the buyer's conversion value. Used in revenue-share arrangements where the publisher earns a cut of the buyer's paid amount rather than a fixed fee.
Where Payout Amounts Are Configured
The payout configuration is authored as part of the Offer
form's Traffic Source Payout section. Each payout row
becomes a business range bound to the offer's payout config,
which in turn references one or more offer conversion rules.
Tiered Payouts via Business Ranges
Different payout amounts at different hours or days of week
are implemented as multiple business range rows with matching
day parts. See the Business Ranges article for how the header
row and child business hour rows are authored.
How Payout Is Applied
When a call fires a conversion rule, the rule's payout type
and amount (or revenue percentage when using the buyer
conversion percent type) are combined with the buyer's
configuration to compute the payout dollars. The result is
stored on the call.
