Lead Wait Rule Groups

Lead Wait Rules

What a Lead Wait Rule Group Is

A lead wait rule group is the named container that holds one
or more lead wait rules. It is assigned to a schedule wait
action to replace the action's static wait time with
conditional logic.

Key Fields

  • Name: a descriptive label (e.g., "Priority-Based Wait Times"). Required.
  • Description: optional notes.
  • Company: the owning company.

Assignment to Schedule Actions

A rule group is assigned to a schedule wait action by
selecting it on the action's configuration and setting the
wait type to "lead wait rule group." When the schedule
processor reaches that wait action, it evaluates the group's
rules against the lead instead of using the action's fixed
wait duration.

Group Evaluation Logic

Rules are sorted by tier (ascending) and the first match
wins. If no rules match, the system logs a warning with
sample mismatch details to the lead's log and falls back
to the wait action's own default wait seconds.
