How to Create a Buyer Group
BuyersWhat is Buyer Group
Buyer Group is a collection of multiple buyers that can
be attached to an offer as a single unit. Groups centralize
dial behavior, tier and weight, and group-level caps.
Setup Steps
- In the sidebar, open Setup System -> Agent / Buyer Groups and click Add A Buyer Group.
- Fill in Attributes:
- Name: a label for the group.
- Dial Behavior: how calls distribute across the group's buyers (e.g., sequentially, simultaneous).
- Buyers: select one or more buyers to belong to the group via the multi-select. The selector supports inline buyer creation.
- Set Tier & Weight if visible:
- Tier: lower tiers are tried before higher tiers when dialing sequentially.
- Weight: within a tier, higher weights receive proportionally more calls.
- Configure the group's own caps under the cap section if you want group-level limits in addition to each buyer's individual caps.
- Click Create Buyer Group.
Using the Group
Once created, attach the group to any offer via the
offer's Call Flow / Call Router configuration. The
routing algorithm then considers every buyer in the
group when the group is reached.
