How to Add a Buyer Conversion

Buyers

What is Conversion

A Buyer Conversion defines the rule that determines
whether a call counts as a Sale for a specific buyer
and what revenue that sale generates. Buyer Conversions
are attached to a Business Range (an Hours of
Operation window) on the buyer, so conversions can vary
by day and hour.

Access

Adding a new Buyer Conversion requires superuser access.
The + Add Revenue Conversion button only appears for
superusers. Non-superusers can only view and edit existing
conversions on buyers they have access to, but cannot create
new ones through this form.

Where Conversions Live on the Form

On the buyer's edit page, scroll to Conversion
Settings
. This section appears when the buyer has
the buyer_conversions_business_ranges permission.
Conversions are nested inside each Hours of Operation
business range: open the range, and the Conversion
Settings for that range appear inside it.

Steps (Superuser)

  1. In the sidebar, open Setup System -> Buyers and click the buyer to edit.
  2. Scroll to Conversion Settings (or the Hours of Operation section, depending on which variant of the form is rendered).
  3. Open or create the Business Range you want the conversion to apply within.
  4. Click + Add Revenue Conversion.
  5. Fill in the conversion's fields: name, bid price, duration threshold, duplicate timeframe, and revenue min/max/increment.
  6. Save the buyer.

Inline / Bulk-Edit Variant

When editing a buyer inline (for example, from within
an offer edit screen) or in bulk-edit mode, superusers
see a compact Conversion Settings block instead,
with a single row of fields: Name, Bid Price, Duration,
and Duplicate Timeframe. This variant edits the buyer's
current active conversion directly without exposing the
full business-range collection.

Standalone Edit Route

A standalone edit page exists at
/buyer_conversions/:id/edit, but in practice
conversions are edited inline on the buyer form.
